When it was first announced that Sunway Resort would be home to Asia's first Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, every foodie and fan of the 'Kitchen Nightmare' host was up in arms with anticipation to finally dig into dishes made famous by the brand.
And it was well worth the hype and wait.
Featuring a luxurious menu inspired by London’s Savoy Grill, diners are in for a gastronomy experience like no other as they feast on the most tantalizing dishes known to the city’s most sought-after dining destination.
Prepared by a highly skilled team trained by Gordon Ramsay himself, feast your tastebuds on prime cuts of meat dry-aged in-house, and classic Ramsay dishes such as the Spiced Beef Tartare with Egg Yolk Confit, Arnold Bennett Twice-baked Cheese Soufflé with Mornay Sauce, Dover Sole with Grenobloise capers sauce and, of course, the famous Classic Beef Wellington, served tableside.
As enriching as the menu, the restaurant's interiors don't disappoint either. Boasting robust furnishings with a rich red and forest green colour scheme accentuated by polished walnut hardwood flooring, brass finishes, 24 karat gold leaf hand-placed ceiling and more.
Stepping into the main dining room, you'll be greeted by monochrome portraits of British style icons by celebrated photographers Terry O’Neill and Arthur Steel inlcuding The Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger, Sir Sean Connery and supermodels Jean Shrimpton and Twiggy.
For guests looking to unwind, the bar offers a host of classic favourites, cocktails with Malaysian-inspired flavours and a host of premium wines and spirits, masterly concocted to set the mood.
