Frangipaani: North Indian Cuisine That Packs A Punch

A slice of India has made its way to Kuala Lumpur with Frangipaani, a stunning fine dining experience that has perfected authentic North Indian cuisine. Located at Bukit Damansara's The Republik (you know, the hard-to-miss all-white Colonial-inspired structure), you're sure to recognize it but its pristine outdoor dining area, which we recommend as the perfect spot to see the sunset as you dig into your meal.

Steeped in tradition, Frangipaani seeks to bring customers through a unique culinary journey contemporary Indian food in a luxurious and sophisticated setting. We had the fine opportunity of visiting the establishment and satisfying our taste buds with their tantalizing selection.

Talking about a burst of flavour, the special of the day saw customers try their hand at Frangipaani's own rendition to the favourite Panipuri (RM30). A blend of spices, sweet pomegranate seeds and a touch of crunch, this tiny capsule can house quite an ensemble of flavours that just flood the senses with a single bite.

And we advise it be consumed in one bite, lest you find yourself spilling at that goodness.

Next up, the Murgh Hariyali Tikka (RM36), an alluringly, spicy selection that's reminiscent of Tandoori chicken with its tangy undertones and crispy heat. Seasoned with just the right amount of spices, the charred meat is anything but that, boasting tender meat that's perfectly paired with a couple slice of Naan or Briyani Rice.

So, if you're looking for a classy place to satiate your fix for good Indian cuisine over a nice brunch or romantic dinner, Frangipaani is worth the stop-by.
