PTPTN Gives Aid To The Asnaf Community Through 'Program Semarak Kemerdekaan Keluarga Malaysia '

The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) has set forth to bring relief to the asnaf community via its latest initiative, “Program Semarak Kemerdekaan Keluarga Malaysia”, that will run from August until September of this year.

One of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, the organization has allocated RM60,800 and is expected to help 760 asnaf families from different states and federal territories across Peninsular Malaysia.

Kicking off in Terengganu, the program has already benefitted 100 asnaf families in the Kuala Nerus district and will continue to the recipients in other states and federal territories.

PTPTN Chairman Apli Yusoff commented that the programme this is the first of its programs to be held, apart from the previously held “Program Bayi Merdeka.”

“We hope these gifts and donation, to some extent, can put a smile on the face of the asnaf families, and indirectly create a good relationship between PTPTN with local leaders and community. This also coincides with the theme for this year National Day celebration — Keluarga Malaysia Teguh Bersama.”

PTPTN has also organized for food baskets containing daily fares to be delivered to several local residents.
