Lin Zheng announced as new CEO of Ninja Van

Ninja Van Malaysia, a trailblazing tech-enabled logistics company, has announced the elevation of Lin Zheng (pictured) as its new CEO, succeeding Adzim Halim, who now assumes the role of Group Chief International Officer.


Lin's promotion underscores Ninja Van Malaysia's commitment to nurturing internal talent and achieving operational excellence. With a rich career marked by collaboration and innovation within the company, Lin envisions propelling Ninja Van Malaysia toward a future of growth and ingenuity.


Expressing his excitement about the new role, Lin Zheng stated, “I am honoured to take on this new role as CEO of Ninja Van Malaysia as the company continues towards a future of growth and innovation. My vision is to drive the expansion of our business units, transforming us into a strategic partner for our customers.”


He emphasised the goal of providing comprehensive solutions beyond the last mile, engaging customers throughout the value chain and delivering innovation that reshapes the logistics landscape.


In his capacity as CEO, Lin is dedicated to fostering a collaborative culture among employees, aiming to enhance teamwork and synergy. He plans to leverage Ninja Van Malaysia's strengths, including its expansive network and customised services like Logistics+, a suite of supply chain management solutions for SMEs in Southeast Asia.


Adzim Halim, the outgoing CEO, commended Lin's appointment, saying, “Working alongside Lin over the past few years has been an enriching experience. His dedication, strategic vision, and commitment to the company's success make him the ideal leader to steer Ninja Van Malaysia forward.”


In his previous role as Chief Operating Officer, Lin played a crucial role in scaling the company's infrastructure and processes. Ninja Van Malaysia, under his guidance, now boasts 100% nationwide coverage with over 5,500 Pick Up & Drop Off points, ensuring a swift and seamless delivery experience.


Lin was instrumental in launching the Shah Alam automated hub, the largest automated hub for Ninja Van Malaysia at 260,000 sq ft. The hub, equipped with an integrated automation system, has increased daily parcel processing capability by 50%.


Lin started his journey with Ninja Van as the Vice President of Regional Operations, overseeing warehouse functions across six markets. Transitioning to the role of COO in Malaysia in 2018, he directed the organization's day-to-day operations and protocols.


Before joining Ninja Van, Lin had experience in management consulting and the telecommunications industries. An alumnus of Singapore Management University, he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Management and Accountancy.
