Traveloka Taps The Culinary Talents Of Chef Wan To Promote Malaysian Cuisine On Platform

Traveloka, a leading hotel and flight booking platform in Southeast Asia, has brought in culinary personality, Chef Wan to promote Malaysian cuisine regionally via its Traveloka Xperience platform.

The partnership will offer guests a chance to indulge in local delights via Chef Wan's flagship De.Wan 1958 by Chef Wan restaurants, where guest can get up to 15% off their total bill.

Traveloka Malaysia’s country manager Angelica Chan said the collaboration falls in line with the company's plans to promote tourism in Malaysia following pandemic. "Having Chef Wan's restaurants and cafe outlets onboard reinforces our position as Southeast Asia's travel and lifestyle platform.”

“Our partnership rewards users with great savings and, most importantly, ensures that they get their fill of truly great and authentic Malaysian fare, served up by an international celebrity chef.”

The co-founder of Chef Wan Group of Restaurants and Cafes, commented on the partnership as well, stating that it would open up numerous opportunities to introduce Malaysian cuisine internationally.
