PNB Appoints Raja Arshad as New Group Chairman

Raja Tan Sri Arshad Raja Tun Uda has been appointed as the new group chairman of Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), effective June 1. He replaces Tun Arifin Zakaria, who retired on May 5.

Raja Arshad holds chairmanship positions in Ekuiti Nasional Bhd, Icon Offshore Bhd, and Bumi Armada Bhd. He brings extensive experience in managing companies and institutions. PNB's president and group chief executive, Ahmad Zulqarnain Onn, expressed confidence in Raja Arshad's leadership to execute the strategic plan and enhance economic wealth for the Bumiputera community and all Malaysians.

Raja Arshad has held key roles in various organizations, including PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia and the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board.
