Three Top Students Get A Trip Of A Lifetime Thanks To The Generous Support Of Lagenda Properties

Lagenda Properties Berhad has made the dreams of three primary school students from Perak a reality by sponsoring almost RM30,000 for an all-expenses paid trip to compete in an international English competition.


The three students, Usheytha a/p Rajendran, Ushana a/p Rajendran from SK Marian Convent Ipoh and Sharvika a/p Vijaya Raman from SJK (T) Chettiar, Ipoh, Perak, will be representing the Malaysia Innovation, Invention and Creativity Association (MIICA) in the Teeneagle 2022 Global Finals, a prestigious international English competition for qualified students, held in London.

“Our focus is on giving young learners from underprivileged backgrounds a springboard that will propel them to a more wholesome future with additional exposure,” commented Dato’ Jimmy Doh, Managing Director of Lagenda Properties.


“Rewarding our children’s dedication and hard work is something we believe is crucial to their personal development including building their confidence levels amongst their peers. Today’s generation of youth are a formidable force, and we want to nurture their growth and drive them to success in every way we can.”


The generous sponsorship initiative is part of the affordable property developer’s community focused giveback programme for the welfare of locals. This sponsorship initiative specifically aims to increase exposure and provide more opportunities for junior achievers the chance to compete against the world’s best and gain immeasurable experience outside of Malaysia.

This contribution was presented by Puan Wan Zakiah Wan Yacob, Assistant Public Relations Manager who represented Lagenda Properties Berhad and was witnessed by the Principal of SK Marian Convent Ipoh, Puan Hindon bt. Wahid and Principal of SJKT Chettiar, Puan Pachayammal a/p Rengasamy, along with their parents and other teachers.
