Ais Kacang; a refreshing staple of Southeast Asian summers doused in sugary goodness and traditional condiments. While we've all enjoyed the dessert on a particularly sunny day, somehow, Kwong Wah Ice Kacang manages to make it feel like it's your first time all over again.
Honing a family recipe that's been passed down for generations, Kwong Wah Ice Kacang has made this simple dessert their greatest achievement, offering something that stands perfectly on the line between sweet with just the right amount of ice.
Once located at Happy Mansion, they recently made the shift to PJ's Seksyen 17, and continues to draw customers in from far and wide to sample their famous ice kacang. But that's not all you need to get when you pay them a visit. Staying true to the local ways, they offer assortments of traditional 'kuihs' and cakes and local delights such as Assam Laksa and Nasi Lemak.
Though we've had our fair share of ice kacang in our day, it goes without saying that Kwong Wah has become a fast favourite for us!
