Hyatt Hotels Corp appointed to operate Hyatt Place Johor by Bangsar Heights Pavillion.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bangsar Heights Pavilion (BHP), a prominent developer, has announced a groundbreaking collaboration with an affiliate of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, a globally renowned hospitality brand. This partnership will oversee the management of the upcoming 200-room Hyatt Place Johor Bahru City Centre, situated at Quayside JBCC, a vibrant lifestyle, retail, and entertainment hub nestled in the heart of Johor Bahru.

This milestone collaboration signifies a significant moment for both entities, as it brings Hyatt Place's distinguished select service model to Quayside JBCC, reinforcing Bangsar Heights Pavilion's standing as a trailblazer in innovative development ventures.

Quayside JBCC, a freehold mixed development with an anticipated gross development value of RM600 million, encompasses retail outlets, serviced suites, a hotel, and a rooftop sky bar offering fine dining. Strategically positioned in the historical core of Johor Bahru, adjacent to the Johor Bahru Customs, Immigrations, and Quarantine Centre, it is set to become a premier destination within the Johor Bahru City Centre (JBCC).

Aaron Yap, CEO of BHP, expressed confidence in the partnership's ability to benefit stakeholders locally and globally. He emphasised the synergies between Hyatt Place's globally recognised brand and BHP's commitment to delivering seamless experiences to customers and residents alike. Yap envisioned this collaboration propelling Quayside JBCC to new heights as a top destination in Johor Bahru.

The 200 well-appointed guest rooms at Hyatt Place Johor Bahru City Centre will offer amenities tailored to guest needs, featuring dedicated spaces for work, rest, and leisure. Guests can enjoy a diverse culinary experience at The Breakfast Bar or unwind at the lobby bar and restaurant. The hotel's Market will offer grab-and-go items round-the-clock, while the Necessities programme will provide essential amenities for guests' convenience. Additionally, the hotel will offer ample workspace, a 24/7 business centre, fitness facilities, and a swimming pool.
