Foodpanda Malaysia is expanding its services by offering Menu Rahmah dishes, priced at RM5 or less, through its delivery platform. This initiative aims to make affordable food more accessible to people from all walks of life. Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub commended Foodpanda's commitment to extending the reach of the Menu Rahmah initiative, stating, "It is heartening to see that even food delivery platforms such as foodpanda have joined the initiative to ensure that more Malaysians have access to affordable food."

With over 238 participating restaurant outlets nationwide, Foodpanda is actively engaged in the Menu Rahmah initiative. The company's CEO, Sayantan Das, expressed plans to gradually expand the initiative to include more restaurants, targeting the addition of around 1,000 outlets by the end of the year.

While the Menu Rahmah dishes are priced at RM5 each, Das clarified that the delivery fees would remain at the usual rate. However, he added that consumers could participate in occasional delivery fee discount campaigns.

In addition to the Menu Rahmah dishes, Foodpanda's grocery store, pandamart, will also be offering two pocket-friendly grocery bundles under the Pakej Rahmah initiative. These bundles, priced at RM30 or RM50 each, contain a variety of essential food items, cooking ingredients, cleaning products, and more, providing customers with savings of up to 25%.

As part of their commitment to giving back to the community, Foodpanda has donated 300 Bakul Rahmah packages, worth a total of RM15,000, to the Rahmah Malaysia Foundation. These packages will be distributed to the less fortunate members of society, supporting those in need.
