Dr KO Dermaceutical Set To Dominate As Largest Homegrown Skincare Chain In Malaysia

Since its establishment, Dr Ko Dermaceutical has grown to be a trusted brand in the industry. Cementing its foundation as a prominent professional skincare chain, Dr Ko® opened their retail outlet in Mid Valley Megamall, marking its fifth presence in the market across a series of outlets in Sunway Pyramid, The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey (Johor Bahru), Pavilion Bukit Jalil, and Gurney Plaza (Penang).

An effort by the company to become the largest homegrown professional skincare chain in Southeast Asia, Dr Ko Dermaceutical aspires to capture a significant market share within the skincare retailing business in the next five years, establishing a foothold in both Malaysia and Indonesia markets as the skincare of choice when it comes to problematic skin conditions.

The retail brand will go on to establish 15 outlets in Malaysia within the next five years, and progressively expand throughout Southeast Asia beginning with Indonesia and Vietnam.

The company's stock-keeping unit (SKU) is currently at 55 and will continue to grow to an additional 50% in the next five years.

Founder and CEO of Dr Ko Dermaceutical, Dato' Dr. Ko Chung Beng, is looking forward to the growth of the brand following the expansion of the fifth retail store.

Dr Ko Skin Specialist has over 48 clinics across Malaysia and four more in Indonesia. Consumers can expect more retail outlets to be launched in all major malls nationwide beginning with Terengganu, Kelantan, and Sabah.
